Igor/Yale
My first impression is surprising, I feel like I expected a different approach to this university. I thought that it would be more of a modern college. When I mean modern I don't mean technology modern, I mean architectural modern. On the other hand I think the rooms are nice, they are not too big, but it's nice to have a room alone. I was also surprised because you have a lot of freedom, some might say that we don't because we can only come back at 11 pm max, but at the boarding school I'm in we can't even leave campus without a teacher with us.

My other approach to this school in classes is that it might be a little more flexible than I thought it was going to be, not saying that it is going to be easy, but we have a lot of free time before and after classes. When I got here I felt like everything in this town revolves around Yale and only Yale, but as I explored the city I saw that there are a lot of places that aren't connected to Yale, which is nice because I also want to go to places I haven't been before. The people here are great so far, I'm sure that there are people that will become good friends with me in this month.
My impression of the staff is that they are all very nice people and are always willing to help, I like my roommates who are both peaceful, I might not be so quiet like them, but I think they are great. I look forward to having a great time with them and having new experiences.
In conclusion I think I will adapt to the college in no time, Yale is huge, but I think I can handle it. I hope I can get a good connection and keep in touch with the people that are here. I think I will have a great time and look forward to learning more about Yale and the community!
